Box House Bar (Seattle, Washington, U.S.A.)

Box House Bar, 122 S Washington Street, Seattle Washington, U.S.A.  www.boxhouseseattle.com Located in Pioneer Square area, the Box House name comes from, goes back in the late 1800's when Pubs and Saloons in the Pioneer Square are were commonly referred to as "Box Houses".  They have a U shaped bar that seats around 12 to 15.  It is packed before the Seattle Seahawks of the NFL games, virtually as soon as the doors open.  So it is tough to tell how good the service is as it is so busy in there and you can't avoid the line ups.  They have a second level.  I haven't had the food here but a couple of people rated it as fair.  It is a short walk to Century Link Field and Safeco Field.  9 beer on tap including rotating IPA's and seasonal beer.  I had a good time before Seahawks games!!
