Yaletown Brewing Company (Vancouver, British Columbia)

Yaletown Brewing Company, 1111 Mainland Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This Pub and restaurant is part of the Mark James Group which have several pub/ restaurants through out the Vancouver area. The Yaletown Brewing Company is located in the trendy Yaletown area of Vancouver which was once the warehouse district. This has been transformed in to this wonderful area where you can walk along the rows of restaurants bars and shops and very close to the False Creek water front.
When you enter this establishment the restaurant is on the left and the pub is on the right. I have eaten here numerous times through out the years. There is loads of seating on the outside patio as well. The pub has several flat screen TV'S, a fireplace and two pool tables. They rinse and dry all of the glasses prior to filling them which is a nice touch. I hate getting a wine glass with someone's old lipstick marks on it. They have 7 different beer on tap which are all brewed on premise. You can also purchase a growler jug and take it home with you full of your favorite beer. The sit up bar seats about 15 people. They also have 2 long tables that are about 1 1/2 feet wide that seat about 12 on bar stools, and are in the middle of the bar. Every time that I have eaten here the food has been great and the service very fast and friendly. The restaurant is also very nice. This is a great place to try if you are in Yaletown!!

The Mill Bistro Pub and Dock (Vancouver, British Columbia)

The Mill Bistro Pub and Dock. 300 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This pub has a fantastic location, right downtown Vancouver on the water by Coal Harbour. They have a dock in front where one can dock one's yacht and come in for a drink and lunch! It is located in the middle of a park setting and is surrounded by grass and the Apartment and office buildings are to the south. To the north you look over the water, the North Shore mountains and Stanley park. The seawall goes past the front of the Mill and you can walk and bike for miles on it along the water front. I have been here a couple of times but have never eaten here so I can't say much about the food. The service has always been friendly and fast when ever Ihave been here. It is a short walk to the Conventions Center and the Pan Pacific Hotel. In the pub there are numerous TV"S with various sports games on. They have various beer on tap and also Strongbow Cider on tap. There is a nice out side patio area but in the picture it doesn't show too well as they are getting ready for the Olympic games at the time.

Library Square Public House (Vancouver, British Columbia)

Library Square Public House (pub) 1199 West Cordova Street, Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. It doesn't look like much from the out side. It is in the Library Square which in it self is a very nice complex. Once is side you will find that it is a very nice pub with a good feel to it. They have a couple of tables that are actually large wooden spools previously used to carry cable. These are on end, and finished of nicely. The spool tables will sit about 8 people around them. There are lots of normal tables and chairs through the pub. There are several TV'S around with various games on. This place gets very busy prior to Vancouver Canuck's games and is very close to GM Place Home of the Vancouver Canucks Hockey Club. and BC Place (home of the BC Lions Football Flub). I had the smoked bacon and Gorgonzola burger and fries. The burger was large but they could use a better bun. the bun started to fall apart long before getting to the end of the burger. The service was good, prompt and friendly. I have been here about 3 or 4 times and each time I had a good experience!!
