Elbow Room (Fresno, California U.S.A.)

Elbow Room 731 W San Jose Avenue Fresno, California U.S.A.   www.elbowroomfresno.com  Established in 1955 and still going strong.  It was remodeled in 2013 despite moving forward the still kept the past. This place is beautiful and slightly up scaled. It has a beautiful 20 person Curved C shape bar that seats 20 people.  there are 16 half circle booths seating 4, one of which is an elongated C and can seat 7 or 8.  They have 3  3/4 circle booths that seat 6. The walls and decor is  darker wood with a few pictures on the walls, some with autographs.  We were there for Happy Hour (3-6 pm) and with every drink you get  free Happy Hour Appy. For our first round we had one big meat ball and one  Ginger Teriyaki steak bites (2 pieces of steak on spinach in sauce).  The second round we had the deviled eggs and they were very good. Other options were, Heirloom Margherita Flat Bread Square or Mini cup of soup.  For my main, I had the 2 prime rib sliders and they were awesome!! They have 6 beer on tap and one dew and brew which is Tulllamore Irish whiskey and draft beer. The service was very good, neatly dressed, polite and very prompt. There are several flat screen TV'S but it is not  sports bar.  The washrooms were very clean.  The present owner has owned it since 1994. I would put this in my top 15 bars on my blog!!
