Engel's Pub (Edmonds, Washington U.S.A.)
Engel's Pub 113-5th Ave. S, Edmonds, Washington U.S.A. www.englesbar.com A great little bar that opened in 1934 and has always been a bar. Apparently it was some where around the 8th bar in Washington State to get a licence after the end of prohibition. The main feature is the beautiful sit-up bar that runs along the left side as you enter. It has a few curves and seats 20 people. It has coat/ purse hooks all the way along under the bar. Across from the bar along the other wall is along bench with 5 tables and each of the tables has 2 chairs. In front to the right as you enter is a pub high table that seats 8 people. They have 15 different types of beer on tap, mostly craft beer. Wine and hard liquor is also served. For lunch I had the 2 tacos, and was perfect for a light lunch. My lunch partner had the Taco Salad with ground beef and it is was very good. It cost some where around $8.00. In the back there is a small room with a low roof and has a pool table and stools. There are 5 TVs through out and pull tabs too! The bartender was very friendly and the service was very good. What a great little bar! We loved it!
