Davis Pub (Annapolis, Maryland U.S.A.)
Davis Pub 400 Chester Avenue, Annapolis, Maryland U.S.A. www.davispub.com This pub is located in the Eastport area of Annapolis and is truly neighbourhood pub. Built in the 1920's by longtime resident George Davis, it was originally a general store. In the 1940 it was turned in to the Davis Tavern. It is a small cozy bar with lots of atmosphere to it! As you enter the sit-up bar is there and seats 12 people. There is a side walk patio to the side. The pub is right across the street from the waterfront and all of the boats. For lunch, 2 people in my dinning party and I had the daily special which was fish tacos and they had big pieces of fish and were very good. One of the people in my dinning party had the Ruben sandwich and said it was really good. There are 8 different local types of beer on tap. Wine and mixed drinks too! They have 7 TV'S and if the Baltimore Orioles MLB and the Washington Nationals MLB are playing at the same time they will be on TV but on opposite sides of the bar! What a great pub!! Loved it here and can't wait to come back to it again!! You have to try this place out as I know you will love it too!
