Galway Bay Irish Whiskey Bar & Restaurant (Annapolis, Maryland, U.S.A.)
Galway Bay Irish Whiskey Bar & Restaurant 63 Maryland Avenue, Annapolis, Maryland, U.S.A. Opened in 1998 by two Irish guys. Huge selection of various whiskeys. Many of the ingredients used in their cooking come directly from Ireland, as does the milled flour for their home made bread. 8 different types of beer on tap and all are from small breweries. It has a beautiful sit-up bar in front and a nice curved one in the back room area. For lunch the three of us had their signature "Dexter Burger" Irish Dexter beer, pasture raised locally in Westminster Maryland. Lean that is cooked medium (Chef's "No exceptions"), shredded lettuce, Spanish onion, signature sauce, toasted Brioche bun and fries. What an amazingly great burger, about an inch and half thick meat patty, it was cooked medium maybe even a little less..... The fries were great too! I love the brick walls and the dark wood. This place had a great feel and vibe to it! Great place, many US Presidents have eaten here as well!! I will be back here for sure!!!
