Max Lager's Wood-Fired Grill and Brewery, 320 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta Georgia, USA.   www.maxlagers.com  A very good atmosphere.  The main floor has 2 large copper vats.  I had the California Cob salad, which was very good.  The second time I had Southern fired Chicken:  all natural breast, buttermilk batter, bacon braised collard greens, charred corn whipped mashed potatoes and pepper jelly.  It could possible be the best chicken I have ever had.  The collard greens were awesome, they had a little chipolte for a little added zip to them. I hear the Gold Coast Gumbo is very good!! As for beer, they serve 6 different types that they brews in house.  They also have 44 different craft bottled beers from all over the world including, USA, Canada, Belgium and Germany.  They have a very nice wine list.  I had the Canvas white, very nice.  Up stairs is another bar area, good for functions.  It has a large sit up bar and pool tables.   There are several more large copper vats.  The main floor sit up bat seats about 10 people, and the service is very good.  If you are ever in Atlanta, definitely give this place a try!!
