Lyman Tavern (Lyman, Washington)

A great little tavern, the Lyman Tavern is located at 8328 South Main Street, Lyman, Washington U.S.A. just off Hwy 20 about 25 minutes east of the Interstate 5. A very clean and friendly tavern, the owner is also the Mayor of Lyman. The tavern's slogan is, "The Horniest Tavern in the Northwest" partly because they have over 150 racks of antlers on the walls. Also behind the bar is a large neon sign about the size of a table that has two elk humping. This is also on the backs of the T-shirts that they sell there. The food there is great, with their specialty being steak. While we were there, the owner (She is also the Mayor of Lyman) was cutting up the steak. Needless to say we had to try the steak. We were not disappointed, it was very good! My wife said the best she has very had, and I cook a pretty good steak if I do say so myself!! The washrooms were very clean and well decorated. Oh yes clean and good posters on the walls. The entire tavern was very clean. The prices were very good and I highly recommend you stopping in if you are ever in the area.

August 2011.  I have been back here numerous times since the first post and this place is still a favorite of mine.  Great ownership, great food, very clean and what else can I say.  Everyone is so friendly, I love coming here.  They make you feel like you are at home.  They had a great car show with close to 200 cars on the streets of Lyman and the Tavern is a big promoter of the cruise in.  Can't say enough about the Lyman Tavern, you gotta try it out.  It is just off Hwy 20 if you are heading east to where ever or going west to the I5 or anywhere in between.

Summer of 2014.  Still keep coming back, service and food is still great!

October 2015, Burgers are great, fresh and not frozen ground beef.  The steaks are still some of the best anywhere.  Great place to go! Still a nice friendly atmosphere, so many reasons to like this place!

January 01, 2018  The Lyman Tavern is now for sale for $495,000.00
